During the Christmas season, it is crucial that no one feels isolated. Our local community serves as an extension of our creative adult playtime family. Thanks to our exceptional partners, we were able to make a significant impact on our Southwark grandparents. We achieved this by offering engaging and inclusive festive workshops that tapped into their inner child. Additionally, each participant enjoyed a delicious hot meal and received a wrapped gift.

Thanks to our exceptional partners, we were able to make a significant impact on our Southwark grandparents. We achieved this by offering engaging and inclusive festive workshops that tapped into their inner child. Additionally, each participant enjoys a delicious hot meal, participates in fun therapeutic activities, and receives a wrapped gift.

SERVICES

Creative Workshops and Warm Spaces

​

We offer an exciting range of fun day events and weekly community activities throughout the year in safe community settings and warm spaces for people who are suffering from depression, isolation and abandonment. We use various modalities to combat life stress such as dance, drama, performing arts, book clubs, fun days, and our exclusive signature flow therapy.

​

Talk Therapy and Helping Service

​

Our therapy services include both group and individual talk therapy. During these sessions, individuals can openly discuss their concerns, goals, and challenges without fear of judgment or bias, through a combination of mindfulness, client-centred or cognitive behaviour therapy and play. Our approach aims to help individuals identify and address patterns of thought and behaviour that may negatively impact their mental well-being. Whether through workshops or a series of sessions, our talk therapy service is designed to support individuals in achieving a healthier state of mind.

Critical Services Signposting and Referrals 

​

We offer critical service assistance to low-income households and individuals facing financial challenges due to the rising cost of living. Our support includes providing valuable financial and housing advice tailored to point you in the right direction to address the impact of these increased expenses.

​

Emergency Supplies

​

Additionally, we provide individuals with new clothing supplies to help them re-enter the workforce, including a new outfit for job interviews. Plus interview coaching services ensure that you present yourself in the best way, both in appearance and communication skills. We are here to help you navigate these challenges and empower you to succeed.

Southwark Council Cost of Living Fund

​

Southwark Council is pleased to announce that the Community Referral Pathway (CRP) is now open for applications from 13 November 2023 to 29 March 2024. If you are in need of financial assistance, please contact us to determine your eligibility. If eligible, you may receive £100 to support your cost of living. To initiate the process, kindly send us a WhattsUp message with your name and contact number, and one of our team members will promptly call you back. It is important to note that this referral is exclusively available to Southwark residents.

This calms the mind and provides relaxation, which can act as a personal-centred alternative nonmedicinal form of healing.

Talk therapy is a budding service where we peer you with a helper who can provide emotional support and a friendly ear.

They help you bridge the gap or find restoration by exploring challenges, blind spots or limiting beliefs.

Creative self-expression is a strong theme in every activity.  We aim to help you escape your comfort zone and experience life freshly. We use all kinds of artistic mediums and communication techniques to help you find release and maximise your fun.

BENEFITS OF ADULT PLAY ON 
MENTAL HEALTH 

Spending time doing things that bring you joy and pleasure has a relaxing effect that counteracts stress. A 2013 study found that playful adults reported having lower stress levels. Play also helped them use healthier coping styles like acceptance and positive reframing.
